Shawntara Lee is a graduate from the University of North Florida earning her bachelors in Business Management. After receiving her bachelors she began serving in her community by becoming the President of Victory Pointe where she initiated higher learning among the youth by creating the Race For Excellence Program which awards youth for their Academic Achievement and Community Service.
Ms. Lee goes on being a pillar in her community by serving on the Resident Advisory Board created by the Jacksonville Housing Authority as secretary which serves as the voice of the 22 communities under the Housing Authority of Jacksonville. From there she continues to rise by gaining employment with the
Housing Authority as a Service Coordinator to the Elderly at Centennial Towers.
With all of this her passion became serving at risk youth and disadvantage communities by creating her non-profit Dreams to Success Incorporated.
The idea came to her in her senior year of college; she notices the possibilities of been given the opportunity to succeed beyond what labels you as a statistic. she also found that at risk youth and disadvantag communities fall victim to the lack of knowledge and resources and she wants to be the first to make change.
